Year 7 Music Spec Extension: Day One - "Stomp Percussion"

We spent day one of our spec extension looking at the music of the world renowned percussion group "Stomp" and coming up with our own creations using found instruments and body percussion only. This first clip is the first piece we worked on, as a whole group of 18 students. See if you can hear us play at different times in unison, using contrasting interlocking rhythms, and using 'call and response' (a little bit like a battle).
